Vanishing Moon Poem by Jesse Tampa

Vanishing Moon

As the moon vanishes and the night is taken away
I find the sun coming up giving birth to a new day

A brand new beginning to a fresh set time frame
Things could go different or remain exactly the same

The night was a cold one with nothing to it
We welcome the sun and in its presence we sit

Soaking up the richness and the warmth it gives
A very bright reason to wake up and live

Get out of the dreary and dark cold shell
Give the daylight a ring from your bell

As the moon vanishes so does the night sky
Gives way for the sunshine to enter your eye
