Vengeance Poem by Marilyn Shepperson

Vengeance

Rating: 5.0

I rescued a moth, I rescued a bee
I even rescued a butterfly
All were quite happy to be released
Once more to the wide outside
But when I rescued a wasp
Was it grateful, oh no, not he
It stung me, as it tried to fly away
Now some people are like moths or bees
And others like butterflies
But those who insist on acting like wasps
Had better be watch out
That they don't get squashed
