Venom Poem by Emma Jane Rae

Venom

What are you meant to do,
When your hearts torn in two,
And you don't know which way to turn?
In your chest there's that pain,
That familiar feeling again,
You'd have thought from these lessons I'd learn,
My eye want to cry,
And I just don't know why,
Maybe I'm addicted to the flames that burn,
I'm struggling to eat,
And I can't even speak,
But maybe one day it will be my turn,
I don't feel good, I feel so bad,
May I deserve to be lonely and sad,
So why is it your touch that I yearn,
You talk to me like crap,
And you can't take it back,
So when I break down, don't show your concern,
There's only even been you,
I thought you loved me too,
But clearly not, when your tongue speaks such venom!
