Venom In The Tree Poem by Shally Samuel

Venom In The Tree

Rating: 5.0

Alas! ! !
Your fruits bewitch the flawless soul
Your frame restrains the royal one.
Where are you from my humble giraffe?
As calm and bold like the Murray river,
flowing in perfect harmony with nature.
There you are shooting as the star, yes that star I saw in your eyes
Your fruits bewitch the harmless soul
like eve the fruit could not resist
refrain you must oh precious one
There is venom in the tree

Restraint is the golden rule of enjoyment. Better to shun the bait than struggle in the snare. A beautiful poem, well conceived and elegantly crafted with conviction. Thanks for sharing Folashade and do remain enriched.
