Verbal And Mental Bullies Poem by Francis Duggan

Verbal And Mental Bullies

There are verbal bullies in every town
Who abuse their power over others and put them down
And with them play mind games and their confidence undermine
On their interaction with their subordinates too often they cross the line
Mental bullies are worse than physical bullies in many a way
For the mental damage they inflict on their victims for years with them stay
In workplaces and in domestic relationships mental bullying is rife
It is something that has left mental scars in many for life
They abuse their power in the most negative way
For mental bullying there is not anything positive that anyone can say
A mental bully to anyone cannot be a friend
That they are compassionless and lacking in empathy why otherwise pretend
Yes there are physical and mental bullies in every town
Who in their cruel and negative ways enjoy putting others down.
