Verdant Valley Poem by Lento Maez

Verdant Valley

In a verdant valley
Rain drops play
A calming symphony
That brightens your day

How sweet the smell
Of fresh mowed hay
Crickets complaining
They wanted to play

A rainbows glow
Scattered mist so slow
A cranky woodpecker
Wanted to know

Where else can you see
Such a marvelous show

Great little poem. Makes me want to run outdoors.
