Vespucci Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Vespucci

Vespucci, spice, ice, is, cup, pie, pies, cups, vice, vices!
The people are enjoying everyday around you and,
You do sit down and watch them;
Because, you have no means to enjoy yourself like they do.
Such is life around us today on this earth!
Some have and, others have not;
But, to reach up to the top is really not easy.
Many have taken the world into their own hands to enjoy the pleasures of it,
And, others are rather waiting and, are ready for the truth;
From my youth and even to this day!
And like the hot wind that blows towards us from the barren heights of the desert.
Love, dove, clove, cove, hove, grove, glove, move, prove, drove, rove, shove, strove, stove;
And, woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees! !
For, winkedness burns like fire.
Yes, don't be surprise!
Life is like that at times;
And like a big ship sailing along;
Since, the minds of many are really infused with the pleasures of this world which lead to sin.
