Victim Of Rape Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Victim Of Rape

Victim of rape

She's littered the surface
Crime in sea, on the earth
As the chief of police
I demand: "arrest her."

"But Sir, she..."
They tell me.

"Arrest her."
I order.

I can see; they murmur:
"He has gone crazy."

CIA, KGB and MOSAD
Like a dog using nose I spy.

"How can we arrest moon? "
"And besides, her litter is an art."
"Sure he is crazy; has lost mind."
They're talking; I hear the last one:
"We all will...city life..."
Then comment:
"Concrete are buildings, roads asphalt we have lost natural eye."

I laugh loud; long speech I start:
"You are right."
Wait for air then go on:
"It was then in village, mountains high, air clean in plains and hearts kind..."
I stop to take air.
With lack of oxygen; I inhale the carbon-monoxide.
"Moon was nice; full of love..."
I cry for more air:
"Arrest her, she's victim of our rape, prey to criminals..."
