Viewpoint Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Viewpoint

There is a certain something that can affect the view
Shaping how you respond to a wounding rude fool
Depending on where you are on the emotional scale
You may laugh and forget or you may weaken and pale

We all have lives that have some highs and undertows
Most often, we try our best to ride it out and suppose…
Make a choice to restore confidence... veto being numb
Learn from the test and to turn a trial into wisdom

A teeter-totter can lift your spirits and expand the sights
It can suddenly dropp beneath you and bruise your delights
There’s a method that can be used to bring about balance
Standing tall and walking away strengthens your stance
