Violence Poem by Brenda Harper

Violence

Rating: 5.0

I heard there cries
I felt there pain
My eyes were open
To see the blame
Their anger was so clear
It was meant to be heard
My throat closed up
As the tears started
Only few could imagine
Only a few could see
The anguish that was standing
Right in front of all to see
One by one
They stood up strong
There voice was clear
As the message went on
Stop the violence
