Violence Poem by Cindy Christmas

Violence

I Have A Question So Please Sit And Be Silent.
My Question Is Why Are People In The World So Violent?
Why Are People Filled With So Much Anger?
Why Do We Hate And Kill Each Other?
You Know, If We Keep On Killing Each Other, One Day We Will Be Extinct,
So Before We Pick Up A Knife Or A Gun, We Need To Stop And Think.
There Is More Than One Way To Solve An Issue.
I Wouldn't Kill Someone Because They Did Something To Me, And Neither Should You.
So Much Violence Is In The World Today That A Lot Of People Don't Live To See Thirty-Five.
I Don't Know About You, But I Have A Lot To Live For And I'm Happy To Be Alive.
I Just Wish That Instead Of People Dying, The Violence Would Decease,
And I Wish That On Earth, There Would Be More Peace.

I agree with this poem and your thoughts. Lately the world seems to be more violent, not less but let's hope it all calms down. I worry for me grand children, their so innocent now.
