Violet - Poem by Vera Sidhwa
I am violet today and feel violet.
Yesterday's meeting in the restaurant
Left me with this color
A sort of sweet but too serious one
We knew each other for so long.
Today's feelings were strong.
I made me belong to yesterday.
I was violet just today.
You never liked to laugh much
Nor smile at all.
I loved you very much
And ever, ever more.
I feel violet todays.
