Violet - Poem by Richard Allen Beevor

I love the colour violet,
Elizabeth Taylor's eyes,
the beauty and the power,
with wisdom it is wise.

I love the colour violet,
alleviate's all hate,
soothe's our raging fears,
gives peace to meditate.

I love the colour violet,
arise its higher plane,
lift's our ailing health
and makes us whole again.

I love the colour violet,
heaven's light divine,
open your soul to its love
and drink its sweet, sweet wine.
