Violets

Rating: 5.0

Violets, spied in a sea of deep grass,
Blossom in the sunny, cool green enmasse.
Their sole sojourn in dancing spring began.
Wrapped in amethyst they color the land.
With shades of shimmery splendor cast,
Violets whisper to us while they last!

I love violets too. Your poem is such a wonderful tribute to those sweet little entities. Smile

Very beautiful celebration of Violets- one of my favorite flowers and fragrances. You have an unusual grasp of language which I enjoy the freshness of.
