Virgin Creed - Poem by Heather Darling

So much to see,
So much to learn,
Mountains to climb,
Corners to turn.

Strong I will stand,
When the wind rages,
For a heavenly Master,
Who writes my life's pages.

Someday I will find,
On this earth Another,
To him goes the gift,
Given to no other.

I will serve him,
All of my life,
and we'll serve God together,
as Husband and wife.

If only this lady become a nun,
Cos I do share your plight
    Doesn't mean no more fun,
    As days remains as bright

Thank you both! I did hold to this creed until my marriage in Aug.2003. Now I stand by my man. (Report) Reply

I loved it! The only grammatical error I see is that 'lifes' should be 'life's' but otherwise very well done! (Report) Reply
