Virtuoso Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Virtuoso

Virtuoso

It's now or hidden,
The clarity and the wisdoms,
the visions and the nerves represented,

The summer somnolence and the flarings of sudden madness,
The sky's compromised beauties and the waterstorpidity,
And life is in its anarchy of sweetness and interpretation.

Your'e in a throne of the unlikely,
A dissident or a likely foe,

Friend or a prosecutor,
The very role on academic questions,
And hands for reconciliations,

Like Blain and his disappearing acts,
Hoaxes and virtuosos,
Sleight of the hands and controls,

Helpful but mistakes, the hunted or the hunter,
The faults of the wandering earth,

Bullets or the domed target,
The very ambivalence of many spokenlanguages and breakages of the body structures,
