The Lost Lovers
Still youcome,
Still you persists,
As lonely as the yesterdays love songs, and the bards of yesterdays lines,
When life was yesterdays fire,
Yesterdays stories and yesterdays desire,
I seek that we meet again,
In these the plateaued cities of the young man's dreams and his handsome face,
As he proffered a hand in marriage.
And she left unsure but reluctant,
But every night in a return to these favors we become those ill strucked lovers
We walk on these rendezvoused shores of forever,
And we kiss on these lips that were never kissed
Unto these unallowable gates and entrances that were never opened
And never consummated.
Waiting for my lost princess, waiting for these lost dreams,
To greet me once again,
On these lonely shores of forever where the two lost lovers would meet again,
And embrace for a new story and a new sequels for the reincarnated young lovers,
As fresh as today in the clear morningsunshine of a glorious summer day.
And we kiss on these lips that were never kissed Unto these unallowable gates and entrances that were never opened And never consummated. waiting on the shores of love... waiting and waiting.......... so expressive of deep felt emotions, love, romance and desire that touches the core.. tony
