Vision Poem by Joseph Cross

Vision

If you looked from another's gaze,
What then would you see?
The pain that drives the person,
Or the view of one who is free?
For in this life, who's to tell,
What another feels?
For only those who feel it,
Truly know it's real.
How do you see another's soul?
How do you know their mind?
How can you tell if ther heart,
Is scornful, sad, or kind?
But as we all know, You cannot see,
Through their eyes so bright,
So clearly, Only one who can,
Truly has real sight.
