I'll glide through another day
Just waiting for the night
Praying for the blanket of darkness
Where my dreams may take their flight
Dreams where I can hold you close
Where you will never walk away
The perfect world for us to live in
A world where I sadly cannot stay
For I wake again each morning
To a day that drags by so slow
I long for your heart to be intertwined with mine
The half that makes me whole
So I retreat into the dreams
Where you will never leave
Each night when I close my eyes
You are right there waiting for me
My perfect picture of you
That will never fade away
No matter how different things become
My heart has a Vision of You that stays the same
