Vivekananda's Poem On His Visit To Kshir Bhavani Temple, Kashmir

Though there is nothing as that
Of the picture of Bhavani
Narrated from the architectural point of view,
The poem recreates the mystical experiences
Of the night of sadhna
And the sadhakas undergoing the test,
The myth of Kali deswcribed racially
And archetypally
Felt during the visit to the shrine
And to converting it into the Night of Kali,
Terrible Kali.
