Voices To Be Heard
Raise your hand
Raise a question
Raise your thought
Express your tension
Free yourself
Free your soul
Do not behold another’s rejection
Carry yourself to a nearby land
The one you know of
The one that will always hold your hand
Make believe that one day, you will be heard
What does this matter to the rest of thi world?
Do not pause.
Just because someone hates your tongue
For your tongue is free, to spread its wings
Wherever it wants to swing, let it spring.
Raise your voice
Without remorse
Be proud
Smile for one moment
If tomorrow never comes
You will be remembered
For raising that one hand
That spoke out!
A fearless lion, raining emotion.
