Void Of Every Zest - Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

A healing touch;
Like a singing bird;
But, you are now sleeping on the bed of roses.

Love is everything in life;
But, it has its side of pains.

Void of every zest;
Zest, test!
In the land of your muse.

And, the woman held the flute;
playing the tune of love to satiafy you.

With men and women;
Bed, bird!
Full of love;
Son, sun!
Full of work;
Coming to me.

And, the woman geard the flute;
In the land of your sweet muse,
Dancing to the melody of the flute.

Like an old love returning from the past;
Infinity, affinity!
Void of every zest;
Price, prize!
With the honour.
