Voyage On The Currents Poem by Nana Cruz

Voyage On The Currents

Voyage on the Currents

Stars, spirals, silver and swirls…
Lying on the shore then caught in a whirl…

Where they’re taken, nobody knows…
May be towards the horizon’s glow…

May be even farther than
The islands of the Caribbean…

Perhaps they’ll sail the Atlantic..
Or shiver in the icey Baltic…

The Mediterranean’s a warm choice,
The Arabian sea has an exotic voice…

It would be really quite terrific,
To wash on up the volcanic Pacific…

In the Gulf of Mexico, into Sigsbee Deep
They might end up in 14,000 feet!

Wherever they go, it’s safe to say,
They live my dream in every which way…

I wish I could join them…
