Highly vulnerable I'm though supremely sweet
I'm an ever-flowing fountain of delight that
makes everyone's life brilliantly bright.
Adorned with bountiful nature
perfumed with aroma of love for ever,
I'm soothing and secure lap of a loving mother.
My green sleek cover absorbs your abominable carbon
and ceaselessly giving you back love in the form of oxygen
still my green skin is vulnerable to exploitation
I'm stripped off by my own children in the name of urbanisation.
The milky rivers from my bosom quench your thirst
But you callously poison them with undegradable dirt.
The noxious gases and smokes from factories
choke my lungs and block my arteries.
Though each particle of my soil strives to feed you dear
You never hesitate to exploit me my greedy-good-doer,
Why don't you realise that I'm your life
With me you too are vulnerable inviting unlimited strifes
With a choking voice and tearful eyes I plead you dear
Start repairing the damages or else your dooms day is quite nearer!
