Just a little while longer
I'll wait for that day
Everything that happens
All the things that you say
I reminisce each day
Think about your ways
Wait for love to take you away
I'll keep you close to my heart
Piercing like a dart
I can't stand being apart
But still I bear it
In hopes that one day
I'll be held in your heart
It's a silly thing I guess
But I'll think of it as a test
To testify my love is true
That I speak the truth
That my love is for you
I remember back to the times we had
Either it be happy or sad
The day we shared our first kiss
The time and place
The way my heart raced
That feeling could never be replaced
I miss your embrace
Your very essence
Your presence
Gives me chills and butterflies
Just look in your eyes
How I long to be close to you
To take in your scent, your smell
Can you ever tell?
I wish to hold your hand
Take a trip to the beach and play in the sand
To just be with you. the end.
