Waiting Poem by N Zoom

Waiting

Rating: 5.0

Waiting, waiting, waiting,
I'm waiting, everything round is moving;
Too long waiting, time passes by,
Years passes by,
Dark hair's turned grey,
Still to wait, how long,
How far, no known,
Like a Marathon,
Running till death,
Till last breath,
Treasures not found.

'Years passes by'? I'd use 'Years pass by'. : ) By 'hair's', do you mean 'hair has'? If so, ok, though it sounds a little strange to me. 'no known'? I'd say 'not known'. Careful. Proofread more if you 'need' to.

'But even though round works as a breezier alternative to around, round tends to create a casual tone, so around is usually safer in serious or formal writing.' (cont.)
