Waiting For You Poem by Lawrence Hiung

Waiting For You

My Dearest friend, Lena
I have to wait
The right time
To see you.

I wait and wait
But you never
Turn up

When will I see
You again?
I waited a bit longer
Till I tired and weary

Knowing you
Will come
To meet me
For the last time.

Waiting for you forever,
Never wait today
Never wait so long days

For this or that, I do not fret
I take from you whatever I get

Hurt if you could tear from my heart away
I would be happy and gay.

Though you are cruel, heartless, and callous
You can also be kind, sweet, and zealous

Yes, I won't mind
Waiting for You
For eternity.
