Waiting On My Way Poem by Arfa Iris

Ah! my destination is just a yard away,
but i wait for you on my way.
because i feel crippled without you,
and can't decide what to do?
people walk by i can see,
some smiling, some willing to help me.
and accompany me till my destination,
but i have no such notion.
because i know they can be a friend,
but cant stand by till the end.
so for you i wait upon,
i know you will never let me down.
waiting for you day by day,
is a foolish thing they say.
but i still wait for you on my way.
