Waiting To Begin 2010 - Poem by Frankie Stamey

I'm tired of waiting to begin
One hell of a year in my mind

I want to see the sunshine again
All heartaches left behind
No memories of the bluehearted kin
Will you find in my mind this time
I will write everything bright and light
Maybe even white like the snow
My bluehearted memories won't show
They have to go
Just where, I don't know and don't care
As long as they are not in my pen

I'm ready to begin 2010
Writing about beautiful flowers
And beautiful women by the hour
I'll be as busy as a bee on a breezy
Blue bird cloudless day
Romance rejuvinated
In a vibrant warm embrace
Writing love inspired by kind hearted thoughts
Straight from a flirty, exotic, naughty, imaginative mind
Unintimidated by memories of the past
Focused on the future
Excited about the life ahead
Am I realistic or optimistic
Just have to wait and see
Still waiting to begin 2010
