Wake me up when morning comes
When the night gives way to the Sun
Tap me gently, I am sound asleep
The troubles of today will assuage when I wake
Time runs, when no one chases after it
It takes away our hope and gives it back anew

Let the new day wake me from this slumber
Yesterday has taken the strength that was left of me
Wake me up when morning comes
I am not lazy, I work all week
I'm weary whenever I return home, yet
I can only rest from dusk till dawn.
