Wakeful Dreaming Poem by Daniel Miltz

Wakeful Dreaming

When I wake -I for one, begin to write
Soaring on the thermals of pondered thought
Attuned to the heartbeat of peace and quiet
Together with dreaming of imagination sought
In the company of embracing runes
Gently flowing at all times
All with open-eyed rhymes
Laying weary and wakeful
Whilst, breathing life into
The early hours of dawn debut
Scribbling, drafting, poesy haiku
