Walk With Me Poem by Clive Blake

Walk With Me

Please hold my hand Gramps
And then walk with me,
For you're sixty-four
And I'm not yet three.

Let's walk together
And let us both run,
Let us play silly
And let us have fun.

Let's stamp in puddles,
Throw sticks in the streams,
Let us make wishes,
Let us have our dreams.

Let's follow the path,
Hide behind a tree,
I'll try and find you
If you search for me.

Let's study the grass,
Let us pick flowers,
In our memories lock away,
All of these precious hours.
