Walking A Path All Green Poem by Iman Sadikeen

Walking A Path All Green

This path all green, we walk
Not greener as the hopes that bloom in my heart.
Sheltered by Pine, so tall on either side
Not so towering yet as you by me side.

Spring is born again
So chirps my bosom thud
Whilst my palm rests on yours my love
weaving an eternal bond that shall stand!

A sweet tune plays the breeze,
Not as merrier as your voice
resonating with every chord of the inner harp,
caressing it gently yet tugging hard.

Around us spreads, nature in her prime
Failed but she be, in arresting my sight.
Could she beat the noble mien set before
In my dark marauder that my vision feasts.

What hypnosis did you play?
For my deeds and dreams you reign.
Dear Lord save my fragile soul
From a love burning so intense ablaze.
