I took my human for a walk,
The man with the great big hat.
But he kept stopping me to talk,
Or just watched me as he sat.
Then he tied a rope around my neck,
And let me lead the way.
But each time I'd stop to try inspect,
He would pull and try to stray.
He stopped to watch me tinkle,
And praised me as I went.
But then his face went red and wrinkled,
As he got closer to inspect.
He took out this bright green bag,
And removed my droppings quickly.
He spluttered loud and made a gag.
In fact he looked quite sickly.
I don't know what he did with it,
Or if I did him proud.
I only hope he won't mind a bit,
When another one comes around.
I don't know his name just yet,
But I can tell him from his hat.
I think I'd be his favourite pet,
If it wasn't for his cat!
