Walking On Poem by Shalom Freedman

Walking On

Walking On

Darkness -
Black clouds- grey spaces-
Morning light nonetheless-
A sudden happiness-recalling
So many times of Shabbat happiness
Given by God-
Through the years -

And now this year- Health again
The hope of more years-
Dark skies and so much light still-
Walking on.
