Walking The Bridge Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Walking The Bridge

Small bridge linking two hillocks
Yet
Saving a long turning of lanes…..
This was the country here.

The ancient rocks
Sacred by their age
Noble
In their withstanding
Winds and rains and storms…

The waves be distant
But their sound
Be at the ear
Mill of sweetness
Hummock of peaceful thoughts….
