Walking The Raccoon Poem by Hebert Logerie

Walking The Raccoon

I can frankly swear
That I saw a lady
From Delaware
Walking a big fat raccoon
Not too far from the lagoon
This huge beast was very lazy.

No, I was not dreaming
My eyes were wide open
The stars were sparkling
Under an enormous full moon
Sometimes, things happen
For a strange reason.

I am not being funny
This raccoon reminds me
Of a former co-worker
Who was like a gladiator
Someone who was impossible
Vindictive and irresponsible.
