Walking Today Poem by William Kofoed

Walking Today

Then I was out

Walking today

Saw a camaro

Series two

Took me back

All the years

Back to when

It was new

Was in collage

Far away

Living alone

With all of my

Youthful hopes

Saw in that car

Hopes of tomorrow

And all of what

It would be

Now today

It seems quite quaint

That I ever

Thought that way

Other paths

Waited me

A life that never

Did I see

Life looked fine

Back then when I

First saw a camaro

Series two
