Walls Poem by james watkin

Walls

Hinting at a private oasis
This one high unclambered wall
Can Life's other side be reached by all
Who mystic footholds gain.

Garden-still, and what as lovely
For hearts at peace, unwilting
To gaze into; its archetype in
The Heaven of faith - too plain!
