Waltzing On Down The Road Poem by Dónall Dempsey

Waltzing On Down The Road

Rating: 5.0

Your mouth
invites kisses.

My mouth
visits...visits.

A holiday of
kisses!

A celebration of
caresses!

The curve of a buttock
in the palm of my hand

that quivers

as we smooch
around the floor

in a patchwork
quilt of dances.

The waiters waiting
by the door.

“Senor...senorita! ”
“It is time now to go home...no? ”

“You’re scaring my staff! ”
the owner laughs.

Finally we agree
to depart

waltzing on down
the road.
