Wannabe Poem by Jason Wittke

Wannabe

Rating: 5.0

You say you want to be like me.
Are you sure?
Do you really want this self-doubt,
This guilt,
This questioning of purpose?
Do you find it amusing when your mom lies down with a headache,
After spending a few hours of 'quality time' with you?
Are you entertained by countless idiots telling you that you are going to Hell?
Do you enjoy being called Leech,
Mosquito,
Parasite,
Vermin,
Or better yet, Spawn of Satan?
Do you like the idea of knowing that you are sub-human,
Dependent on others' energy for your survival,
Yet hated for what you have to do?
Then I truly pity you.
For how empty and pointless your life must be,
for you to long to be this miserable.

This is rage, an open outburst of self-blaming, dissastifaction in life that has taken its toll on certain individuals. It could be worst without some helps, to guide them to overcome the misleading they've had endured.Good writes Jason.
