Wanting More
My aspiration for you
overflowing my mind.
Wanting more
than witty conversations,
deep talks,
hiding from your parents
who hate me so much,
saying 'no' to the question
I wish I could answer 'yes' to.
Wishing I could see the truth,
of how you feel about me.
So I won't have to sit here,
craving your touch,
words,
kisses I never got.
As I ache,
wanting more,
than just our friendship.
