Wanting To Say Nothing At All



a time for silence
the mind is full
like a heap of leaves
unswept for days
by the lazy wind

a day of silence
inside the room

a door shut
curtains and windows
stare
giving little mercies
to a restless soul
inside a
sleepy body.
