War Poem by Kurt Philip Behm

War

Rating: 5.0

A hemorrhaging madness…
wounds bleeding again

Old stitches have broken
death marking the end

Unsutured indemnity
ensuring your pain

Flesh burning in enmity
—uncauterized shame
