War Against Thyself Poem by Somendra Gaur

War Against Thyself

If the death of soberity brings you peace,
Then let there be war,
When,
Wee small voice is itself in a state of trance,
Set the demons free,
Let there be war,
If peace shall follow it;

Let there be silence,
If it has the power to hold what can destroy you,
Contrarily,
Let there be war;

Wise men aren't happy men,
Let's be foolish,
Let there be wars;

Altruists are the most valiant Narcissists,
If you can see that like me,
Let there be war;

Fraternity is the step-son of co-dependecia,
Who shall have aborted her,
If not for her own good,

Lies can make any girl jealous,
Only if they could be personified,
Untill I start loving Ugliness,
Let there be a war.
