Warm Milk At Bedtime - Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Coy covetous cat
snuggled up in bed
secure
in warmth love.

Darkness
a goose-down quilt
cover
her slender form.

Youngest son
on left
husband
eldest son
on right.

You can almost
hear her purring.
She can drink
this kind
of milk forever.
