Warning Poem by Toshie Nohara

A puff here
A puff there
A puff everywhere
Without a care
for people around
him

How inconsiderate
How indifferent
How selfish not to
think about what secondary smoke from
cigarettes will
affect one's health
and innocent cute
animals like pets that
live in the same
house as the smoker!

While puffing he
himself is in his own
world
And smoking is his
'idol' that blinds him completely
Even he being deceived that
it's a way of
relaxing his
mind!

So he keeps on and on and on
smoking until
one day he gets into
trouble with his heart
It's not a laughing
matter anymore
Danger is knocking at his
door.

So he QUITS
Good-his heart treated
catheter done
is healthy
heart happy
He should heartily
Thank God

He now persuades
others not
to puff here
or puff there
or puff anywhere
And to STOP polluting the
air.
