Warnings He Gave Us
As they fell sleeping
unconscious of the dangers
falling to sleep in the garden
warnings he gave us
for each of us urgent
to keep watch, ever vigilant,
praying to avoid temptation
that we would be strong
in the moments of crisis
that we would remain
faithful to God
