War-the pyre on earth
The epics enlighten war in the name of Dharma
The classics glorify war in the name of Karma
Iliad, Odyssey, Ramayana and Mahabharata
Are they not REMNANTS of war
War is embedded in man and history from time immemorial
War, but the war, but the recent war
spills blood and tears on our body and mind
shattering us to nothing
Ears deafened by the clamour of weapons
Unbearable sound piercing life and laughter
Burnt dreams and charcoal desire
scattered on the unpopulated areas
All sweetness evaporated erasing future with uncertainty
Tomorrow's air strangled by today's smoke
Bunkers as caves and caverns swallowing the howl, marring moonlight and sunlight
(traveling to stone age too)
Flower and fame gone astray, the world is on pyre
War is pyre on earth where we burn ourselves
I am unable to epitomize the destruction called WAR
Ageless....
