How could I have been so wrong?
I thought you were one of a kind.
But here I'm sitting all alone,
Surely I must have lost my mind.

I trusted you with my own heart,
I gave you everything I had.
And then you tore my world apart,
And made me feel like I was dead.

Wasted love and wasted time,
My life went down the drain.
You left and took with you my last dime,
And you only left the pain.
